A woman has been arrested at the Boluwaduro Local Government Secretariat following allegations that she attempted to remove government property from the premises.

Mrs Olaojo Felicia was detained by security operatives on Monday after concerns were raised that official items and documents were being taken out of the council offices through the perimeter fence.

It is understood that the incident occurred shortly after Mrs Felicia had resumed duty on Monday.

Security personnel, who reportedly became suspicious of her movements, intercepted her and recovered several government-owned items in her possession.

Confirming the incident, Saheed Omokanye, Media Assistant to the Executive Chairman of Boluwaduro Local Government, said Mrs Felicia had been handed over to the police for further questioning and investigation.
