The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream One Orientation Course will commence on Wednesday, 21 January 2026, across all 37 NYSC orientation camps nationwide.

The announcement was signed by NYSC management.

According to the scheme’s management, camp registration for prospective corps members will run from Wednesday, 21 January, until midnight on Friday, 23 January 2026.

The official swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for Friday, 23 January, while the orientation programme will conclude with a closing ceremony on Tuesday, 10 February 2026.

The NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, has extended best wishes to all prospective corps members, urging them to travel safely to their respective states of deployment. He also advised against undertaking night journeys during transit.
