Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has addressed circulating reports on certain online media platforms suggesting a disagreement between him and Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
A statement from the Lagos State Government insists that such claims are false.
According to the statement, both governors maintain a “very cordial brotherly relationship,” holding regular meetings and frequent discussions on issues of mutual interest.
This close cooperation is attributed to the shared border between Lagos and Ogun states, as well as common socio-cultural ties.
The government urged purveyors of what it termed “fake news” to immediately cease attempts to sow discord between the governors. It emphasized that both leaders are united by a common vision to improve the lives of their citizens.
The statement concluded by reaffirming the collaborative commitment of Governors Sanwo-Olu and Abiodun to the development and prosperity of their respective states.
