Adekunle Ojora, the Otunba of Lagos and the Lisa of Ife, died at the age of 93.
His family announced his death in a statement on Wednesday, saying he died early in the day.
His daughter, Toyin Ojora-Saraki, the wife of former Nigerian Senate President Bukola Saraki said he would be buried in Lagos in line with Islamic rites.

He was widely regarded as an influential boardroom figure, holding chairmanship and leadership positions in several major companies over several decades.
Deeply rooted in Lagos and Yoruba traditional institutions, he also played notable roles within Nigeria’s cultural and traditional leadership structures.
