The Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro, has called for the adoption of a structured and technology-driven performance management system across all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) in the state.
Agoro made the call on Thursday, during a meeting with the Body of Permanent Secretaries held at Cordis Hotel.
Speaking at the meeting, the Head of Service said his office is mandated to drive service-wide standards, strengthen institutional capacity, and ensure the implementation of effective performance management frameworks across the public service.
He stressed that establishing a robust and technology-enabled system is essential to advancing ongoing public service reforms and achieving administrative excellence. According to him, Lagos State must continue to position itself as a leading model of governance excellence in Nigeria.
Agoro also commended KNEWROW Consulting Ltd, led by Mr. Ayo Muritala, for its partnership with the state government in strengthening institutional performance frameworks, including the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
He emphasized that strategic collaborations with competent professionals and organisations remain critical to achieving improved service delivery and institutional effectiveness across the state’s public sector.
