The Oyo State Police Command has announced that screening for shortlisted applicants in the ongoing recruitment of 50,000 police constables will begin on March 9, 2026.
In a statement by Police Public Relations Officer Ayanlade Olayinka, the exerciseorganised by the Police Service Commission in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force will take place at the Officers’ Mess, Police Command Headquarters, Eleyele, Ibadan, and run until April 18, 2026.
Shortlisted candidates are advised to check the recruitment portal, print their invitation slips, and come with required documents including their NIN printout or NIMC card, educational certificates, birth certificate or age declaration, and local government certificate of origin.
Applicants must appear in white T-shirts, white shorts, white canvas shoes, and white stockings.
The Commissioner of Police in Oyo State, Femi Haruna, stressed that the recruitment process is free, urging applicants to ignore fraudsters demanding payment and assuring that the screening will be transparent.
