Eid-el-Fitr: Obasa Urges Support for Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda|LAGOS EYE NEWS

The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful across Lagos and Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, calling for continued unity and commitment to national development.

In his message marking the end of Ramadan, Obasa described the celebration as more than a festivity, noting that it embodies the values of sacrifice, compassion, unity, and gratitude instilled during the holy month.

He urged Nigerians to remain steadfast in their support for the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, expressing confidence that the administration’s policies are already producing tangible results.

According to the Speaker, signs of progress are evident in the country’s improving economic outlook, easing inflation, and the implementation of social protection programmes aimed at supporting women, families, and vulnerable groups.

He added that such initiatives are also creating opportunities for youth participation in governance.

Obasa acknowledged that ongoing reforms may present challenges but emphasized that they are necessary steps toward building a more resilient and prosperous Nigeria.

He concluded by wishing Nigerians a peaceful and joyful Eid celebration, urging citizens to sustain the spirit of Ramadan in their daily lives while working collectively toward a better nation.
