The Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA) has dismissed as false and misleading a recruitment advertisement currently circulating on social media and WhatsApp platforms, claiming that the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LNSC) has commenced an SSCE Cadre Recruitment Exercise.
In a statement issued by the agency’s management, the LNSA clarified that no recruitment exercise is presently ongoing and described the information being shared, including the purported application link and accompanying messages attributed to HEMMARLEX MEDIA, as fake, unauthorized, and deceptive.
The agency urged members of the public to disregard the publication and refrain from sharing or acting on the information, warning that it could be part of a fraudulent scheme aimed at misleading unsuspecting individuals.
According to the statement, any future recruitment exercise by the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps will be officially announced through the agency’s verified communication channels and recognized media platforms.
The LNSA also advised residents to remain vigilant and rely solely on official sources for information regarding the agency’s activities, stressing the need to avoid falling victim to misinformation and recruitment scams.
