Eight Dead, 26 Rescued in Lagos Building Collapse|LAGOS EYE NEWS

No fewer than eight persons, including a baby girl, have been confirmed dead following the collapse of a storey building near Alakija Bus Stop along the Lagos–Badagry Expressway in Satellite Town, Lagos.

Emergency responders said 26 people have so far been rescued from the rubble, while efforts continue to locate other victims believed to be trapped beneath the debris, including shop owners.

Rescue operations are ongoing, with emergency personnel working round the clock to evacuate survivors. Those rescued have been handed over to medical teams for treatment.
