Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State on Wednesday paid a condolence visit to a member of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), Cardinal James Odumbaku, following the death of his wife, Mother Celestial Olasinmi Akindele Odunmbaku.
The governor described the late Mother Odumbaku as a woman whose life was marked by faith, service, and compassion, noting that her contributions and impact would not be forgotten.
“She lived a life defined by faith, service and compassion, and her impact will not be forgotten. I prayed for God to grant her eternal rest and to comfort Cardinal Odumbaku, the entire family and all who are mourning her. ”
“May they find strength in the memories she leaves behind and in the lasting legacy of her life.”
Sanwo-Olu offered prayers for the peaceful repose of her soul and asked God to grant comfort and strength to Cardinal Odumbaku, the entire family, and all those grieving her passing.
He also prayed that the bereaved family would find solace in the cherished memories she left behind and in the enduring legacy of her life.
