A fire incident has engulfed the Bono Energy Terminal situated along the Apapa-Oworonshoki Expressway near Coconut, in the Olodi Apapa area of Lagos State.
The fire, which broke out on Friday afternoon, triggered an immediate response from the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service.
Firefighters were promptly deployed to the scene and are currently battling the blaze to prevent it from spreading to adjoining facilities.
The emergency response agency confirmed that efforts to contain the fire are ongoing. However, the cause of the incident is yet to be ascertained, while the extent of damage to the facility remains unknown.
