The NYSC Director-General encouraged the outgoing corps members to uphold the values of discipline, unity, integrity and service they embraced during the orientation and service year, stressing that they should remain worthy ambassadors of the Scheme wherever they find themselves.
Nafiu also urged the graduates to make effective use of the knowledge and practical skills acquired through the NYSC Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) Programme, saying the initiative provides opportunities for self-reliance, entrepreneurship and job creation.
He further called on the outgoing corps members to remain committed to the ideals of national unity, emphasising that building a better Nigeria requires the collective efforts and dedication of every citizen.
Reaffirming the Scheme’s motto, the NYSC Director-General reminded the corps members that “Nigeria is ours; Nigeria we serve,” while wishing them success in their future endeavours.
