The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Orientation Course will commence nationwide on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.
In a statement issued by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the scheme said the three-week orientation exercise will be conducted simultaneously across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), ending on Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
The NYSC also disclosed that Call-up Numbers have been uploaded to the dashboards of all prospective Corps Members, while Call-up Letters will be made available in due course.
Director General of the NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, congratulated all prospective Corps Members mobilised for the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II service year on the successful completion of their studies in higher institutions within and outside Nigeria, which qualified them for national service.
He urged the prospective Corps Members to ensure safe travel to their respective orientation camps, advising them against travelling at night. The NYSC boss also called on them to strictly observe all travel and safety guidelines throughout their journey to the camps.
The orientation course is a mandatory programme designed to prepare newly mobilised graduates for the one-year national service.
