Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), and his wife, Pastor Mrs Foluke Adeboye, have taken the church’s Light-Up Crusade to Seychelles, where they paid a courtesy visit to the country’s President, Dr Patrick Herminie, at the State House.

The RCCG delegation was led by the Country Pastor of RCCG Seychelles, Pastor Terrence Payet.

During the meeting, the delegation and the President discussed the role of faith-based organisations in addressing social challenges and contributing to national development.

The discussions focused on youth and family support, assistance for vulnerable communities, single mothers, drug addiction and capacity-building opportunities for students.

The engagement comes as RCCG prepares to host the Light-Up Seychelles programme alongside the dedication of its new church building, which also houses a youth empowerment office.

Both sides expressed a commitment to greater collaboration in promoting spiritual guidance, community development, youth empowerment and practical social interventions in Seychelles.

The RCCG delegation emphasised that the Church has a responsibility not only to preach hope but also to demonstrate it through meaningful service and community engagement.
