A Flydubai passenger aircraft travelling from Dubai to Tel Aviv made an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia after a reported confrontation between the two pilots in the cockpit.
According to reports, the co-pilot allegedly stabbed the captain during the altercation, prompting concerns over the safety of the aircraft and its passengers.
Passengers reportedly heard screams during the incident, while some also claimed to have seen blood near the cockpit.
The situation triggered a distress alert and raised fears of a possible hijacking. Israeli authorities reportedly scrambled fighter jets as the aircraft diverted towards Tabuk in northwestern Saudi Arabia.
The aircraft eventually landed safely in Saudi Arabia, with the two pilots reportedly taken to hospital for medical attention.
