The Nigerian Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Oluyemi Oluyede, has arrived in the Bokkos council area of Plateau State.
The COAS led a delegation of senior military officers to Bokkos to see the level of destruction caused by the gunmen’s invasion that killed over 60 persons and destroyed properties.
An emergency critical stakeholder engagement with leaders of the Native and Fulani communities is part of the itinerary and order of the day.
Achieving a successful farming season and peaceful cohesion among warring communities is the main agenda to be deliberated in the meeting.
