President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians in Nigeria and around the world, as they commemorate the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ—a central pillar of the Christian faith.

In a message released to mark the occasion, the President highlighted the significance of Holy Week, which begins with Palm Sunday and spans through Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and culminates in Easter Sunday.

He urged Nigerians to reflect on the enduring values of sacrifice, redemption, love, and hope that the season represents.

“As President of our blessed nation, I draw inspiration from this timeless message of hope and renewal. I remain steadfast in my commitment to delivering the promise of a Renewed Hope—a better, more just, and prosperous Nigeria for all,” Tinubu stated.

He also prayed for peace in Nigerian homes and unity across the nation, wishing all citizens a joyous Easter celebration.
