The Osun State Security Network Agency, Amotekun Corps, has successfully reunited a woman who was found wandering the streets of Ede with her family.
The woman was reportedly found around midnight on Sunday by a Good Samaritan, who subsequently took her to the Amotekun office for assistance.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Corps Public Relations Officer, CSA Yusuf Idowu Abass said the woman was reunited with her family on Monday after her relatives received information that she was in its custody.
Her father, Mr Fatoye, expressed appreciation to the Corps for providing care and ensuring his daughter’s safety while she remained at its office.
He also commended the Good Samaritan who found her and facilitated her transfer to the Amotekun office.
According to Mr Fatoye, the family had been searching for her since Friday but could not establish her whereabouts until they received information that she had been found and was being cared for by the security outfit.
