The First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, has expressed profound sadness over the death of the South-West Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaja Yetunde Shakirat Adesanya, describing her passing as a significant loss to the women’s political community and the progressive family across the South-West region.
In a condolence message, Dr. Sanwo-Olu paid tribute to the late APC chieftain, describing her as a woman of exceptional strength, compassion, and commitment whose contributions to party development and women’s empowerment would be remembered for years to come.
The First Lady noted that Alhaja Adesanya distinguished herself as a bridge-builder, grassroots mobilizer, and loyal party stalwart who dedicated her life to the service of humanity and the promotion of progressive ideals.
