President Bola Tinubu has sworn in newly appointed Federal Commissioners for the National Population Commission (NPC) and the Revenue Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).
The swearing-in ceremony was held on Monday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, shortly before the commencement of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
Former Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Abdullahi Mukhtar Mohammed, representing Kaduna State, and Amina Gamawa from Bauchi State took the oath of office as Federal Commissioners of the Revenue Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission.
President Tinubu also inaugurated six new Federal Commissioners for the National Population Commission.
The commissioners are Kolawole Oladipupo Alabi (Ekiti State), Nasiru Mu’azu (Zamfara State), Isaka Alada Yahaya (Kwara State), Prof. Sadiq Isah Radda (Katsina State), Suleiman Umar (Jigawa State), and Chiso Abdullahi Dattijo (Sokoto State).
The appointments are expected to strengthen the operations of both commissions in the discharge of their constitutional responsibilities.
