The Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) has directed all its state chapters across the country to organise a special prayer session in honour of late veteran actor, Alhaji Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo.
The directive was contained in a memo signed by TAMPAN’s Global President, Dr. Amusan Bolaji Latin, JP.
According to the association, the prayer session is to focus on seeking God’s face, asking for forgiveness of sins, divine protection for members, and preservation from death, sickness and destruction.
TAMPAN also urged members to pray for the peaceful repose of all departed colleagues within the entertainment industry.
The association called on State Governors to ensure full compliance with the directive across their respective chapters.
The memo concluded with a prayer for God’s protection and preservation of members, forgiveness of sins, and eternal rest for the departed.
“May God protect and preserve us all, forgive our sins, and grant the departed eternal rest. Amen,” the association prayed.
