Heavy rains, landslides and avalanches have killed at least 24 people and left 14 others missing across Nepal over the past three days, according to reports.
The severe weather has affected several parts of the country, with Manang, Myagdi, Parbat and Palpa among the areas reportedly facing critical conditions.
In Galkot, Baglung, a government building was reportedly swept away by powerful floodwaters as the Kaligandaki River rose significantly following the heavy rainfall.
Authorities also reported that two mountaineers died in an avalanche in Manang, further raising concerns over the impact of the extreme weather in mountainous areas.
At least 747 families have reportedly been affected, while 143 houses were completely destroyed by floods, landslides and related incidents.
Rescue and relief efforts are expected to continue as authorities assess the extent of the damage and monitor rivers and vulnerable mountainous areas for further hazards.
