A video from the wedding ceremony of former Kogi East Senator Emmanuel Dangana Ocheja and his new wife has surfaced online, days after the couple exchanged vows in Abuja.
The white wedding was held on September 19, 2026, with family members, friends and other guests in attendance.
In the video shared on Monday by film journalist and Chief Executive Officer of the Best of Nollywood Awards, Seun Oloketuyi, Ocheja is seen dancing with his wife during the celebration.
The bride later joined the former senator on the dance floor as guests cheered and celebrated with the couple.
Ocheja, a lawyer and politician from Idah, Kogi State, represented Kogi East in the Senate from 2011 to 2015 on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He was a member of the Seventh National Assembly and served on several committees, including Defence and Army, Appropriation, Gas, Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters, and Privatisation.
Born on April 3, 1956, according to biographical records, Ocheja studied law at Ahmadu Bello University and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1982.
He later joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) and remained active in Kogi State politics.
The wedding video has continued to attract reactions on social media, with users commenting on the former senator’s new marriage and the celebration captured in the footage.
