The Convener of the Tinubu Must Stay Movement, Hon. Okeowo Abiola Adeoye, popularly known as Alamala, has announced plans to organise a solidarity walk on November 21, 2026, as part of efforts to mobilise support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Adeoye disclosed this on Thursday through a statement, where he said the movement was targeting at least two million votes for Tinubu, Lagos State APC governorship candidate, Dr Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat, and other party candidates in the state.

He said the movement had commenced grassroots mobilisation across Lagos State’s 57 local government areas and local council development areas, noting that its support network had been active in communities for several years.

“Nothing can change our position that Tinubu must stay in 2027. It is 4+4, and nothing will change that,” he declared.

The convener expressed confidence in Tinubu’s re-election prospects, citing the President’s leadership experience and political record.

He also called on Nigerian students, civil servants, market leaders, youths and other stakeholders to participate in the planned solidarity walk.

According to him, the procession will commence from Maryland Underbridge and terminate at Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Park.

“We are calling on Nigerian students, civil servants, market leaders and other stakeholders to come out in support of Asiwaju Tinubu on November 21, 2026,” he said.

Adeoye further disclosed that the movement had introduced an online registration platform through Google to coordinate participation and build a database of supporters expected at the event. Adding that the interested participants can register through https://bit.ly/tinubumuststay.

He explained that the registration platform would enable the organisers to determine the expected turnout and ensure effective coordination of participants from different parts of Lagos State.

Beyond the presidential and governorship elections, Adeoye pledged the movement’s support for APC candidates seeking election into the Lagos State House of Assembly and the House of Representatives.

Among those mentioned were Hon. Nureni Akinsanya, representing Mushin Constituency I; Hon. Kazeem Olayinka, representing Mushin Constituency II; and House of Representatives candidate, Hon. Adeyemi Alli.

“All hands are on deck, with strategies to showcase the work all our candidates have done in their communities and mobilise support for them before, during and after the elections,” he said.

He expressed optimism that the APC candidates would emerge victorious, adding that the movement would intensify its grassroots engagement and political mobilisation across the state.

The planned November 21 solidarity walk is expected to form part of the movement’s wider mobilisation strategy as political activities gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections.
