To enhance security, the Ogun State Government has begun installing solar-powered street lights at the Sagamu Interchange, specifically near the Under Bridge area.
LAGOS EYE NEWS reports that the initiative is aimed at enhancing public safety and strengthening the state’s security infrastructure.
According to government officials, the solar-powered lights will provide round-the-clock illumination, deterring criminal activities and creating a safer environment for both commuters and residents.
“This is part of our continued commitment to improving public safety and enhancing the security architecture across the state,” a government spokesperson stated.
“The solar lights will ensure 24/7 visibility in the area, discourage criminal activities, and provide a safer environment for commuters and residents alike.”
The state government also called on members of the public to cooperate with security agencies in ensuring peace and progress throughout Ogun State.
