Minister of Aviation Festus Keyamo has praised President Bola Tinubu’s leadership following a major political shift in Delta State, where Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, and other top PDP figures defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Sharing a video of the governor and his cabinet singing Tinubu’s anthem “On Your Mandate,” Keyamo declared, “Finally, finally Delta is APC!”

Senator James Manager confirmed the mass defection, saying, “We cannot continue to be in a sinking boat,” as the state’s entire PDP structure—including the governor, former governor, Speaker, party chair, and all LG chairmen—joined the APC.

Delta’s move marks a significant collapse of PDP influence in one of its former strongholds.
