BREAKING: Senate adopts electronic, manual mode of transmission of election results |LAGOS EYE NEWS

The decision followed a reconsideration of a disputed clause in the Electoral Act Amendment Bill during Tuesday’s plenary session.

However, lawmakers stopped short of making electronic transmission compulsory and also rejected proposals requiring real-time uploading of results.
