Nigerian social media personality Blessing Okoro Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has revealed that she is preparing to undergo a mastectomy following a breast cancer diagnosis.
In an emotional statement shared publicly, she disclosed that the condition was first detected last year as a lump. She added that she is currently battling stage 4 cancer, although initial medical checks suggested otherwise.
According to her, an earlier hospital visit and biopsy indicated that the condition was not serious. However, a follow-up biopsy later confirmed a more severe diagnosis.
The influencer became visibly emotional while addressing her followers, breaking down in tears as she expressed deep fear about her condition. She stated that her “days are numbered” and that she feels she is “going gradually.”
“My breast cancer started last year as a lump. I went to the hospital and did a biopsy; the doctor initially said it wasn’t serious. But after another biopsy, they found it was serious. Now we’re preparing for amputation,” she said.
“I’m so, so scared… still in denial. I’m tired of being strong,” she added, showing signs of significant hair loss. “I need all the prayers I can get. Pray for me and check up on me. I just want words of affirmations, encouragement, and the love and advice I’ve given to all of you; I want it back now,” she said.
She also shared a follow-up video of herself shaving her head, further highlighting the physical and emotional toll of the illness.
Meanwhile, several reports, including posts on X, have described the diagnosis as stage 4 breast cancer. However, Blessing CEO has not publicly specified the exact stage in her viral videos.
The announcement has since generated widespread reactions, with fans and other social media users flooding her page with prayers, words of encouragement, and messages of support.
