The Osun State Police Command has launched an investigation into the alleged unlawful exhumation of a human skull from a grave in Oba-Ile, leading to the arrest of three suspects.
According to the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abiodun Ojelabi, the case was reported at the Oba-Ile Police Station on June 17, 2026.
The complainant informed the police that while visiting the grave of his late elder brother on June 15 within their family compound, he discovered that the grave had been tampered with and the deceased’s skull was missing.

During interrogation, Ojo allegedly implicated three other individuals identified as Ayeloja Lateef, 40, Azeez Rasheed, 50, and Kunle Fatai, who is currently at large.
