The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Maranatha Parish in Vienna, Austria, held a special thanksgiving and welcome service to celebrate the appointment of former Oyo State First Lady, Florence Ajimobi, as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Austria and Slovakia Republic.
The service on Sunday brought together members of the Nigerian diplomatic mission in Vienna, church leaders and worshippers for a time of worship, thanksgiving and prayers, during which the congregation committed the ambassador’s new assignment to God and prayed for wisdom, favour and success in her diplomatic responsibilities.
Addressing the congregation, Ambassador Ajimobi expressed gratitude to the church for its warm reception and prayers, describing the service as a significant moment of spiritual encouragement as she begins her diplomatic mission.
She also acknowledged the support of officials of the Embassy of Nigeria in Vienna, commending their dedication to advancing Nigeria’s interests abroad.
The church leadership offered prayers for divine guidance, protection and wisdom for the ambassador, while encouraging her to remain steadfast in serving the nation with integrity and excellence.
Ambassador Ajimobi thanked the pastorate and members of RCCG Maranatha Parish for their hospitality and spiritual support, reaffirming her commitment to strengthening the relationship between Nigeria, Austria and the Slovakia Republic while faithfully discharging her responsibilities as Nigeria’s representative.
