The Nigerian Army has arrested two serving soldiers for allegedly acting as bouncers and providing unauthorized security at the wedding ceremony of TikToker Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, and his partner, Jarvis, in Lagos.

According to reports, the soldiers allegedly abandoned their official duties to work as private security personnel at the celebrity event without authorization.

The Army described the alleged conduct as a breach of military ethics and professionalism, noting that personnel are prohibited from engaging in unauthorized private security assignments.

The two soldiers are currently in military custody and are expected to face disciplinary proceedings in line with the Nigerian Army’s regulations.

The incident has generated reactions on social media, with many Nigerians expressing differing opinions over the soldiers’ alleged involvement at the high-profile wedding.
