The Imole Campaign Council (TICC) has pledged to deliver 1.5 million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Osun State ahead of the next presidential election.
The council made the pledge while welcoming the appointment of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke as the state coordinator of the PBAT Presidential Campaign Council.
In a statement signed by its Director-General, Senator Olalere Oyewumi, the council described the appointment as well deserved, assuring President Tinubu that his confidence in Adeleke’s ability to mobilise support in Osun would not be misplaced.
TICC also pledged that all Accord Party structures in the state would work towards Tinubu’s re-election.
The council urged residents of Osun to continue supporting Adeleke, expressing confidence that the governor would fulfil his campaign promises.
It further linked support for Tinubu’s re-election bid to support for Adeleke, stating that a vote for the President would also represent support for the Osun governor.
“The Imole Campaign Council welcomes the appointment of Governor Adeleke as state coordinator of the PBAT Presidential Campaign Council in Osun.
“We assure the President that his confidence in the ability of Governor Adeleke to deliver Osun in the presidential election will not be misplaced,” the statement said.
The council reiterated its commitment to delivering 1.5 million votes for Tinubu in the forthcoming election, adding that Accord Party structures across the state would participate in the campaign.
