A Nigerian man based in Canada has alleged that a church linked to the controversial Nigerian pastor, Chris Okafor, has been shut down in Toronto.
In a video posted on TikTok, the man claimed that the Greater Liberation City International Ministry Centre, which he said was owned by Pastor Okafor, had been dissolved by Canadian authorities and was no longer legally permitted to operate.
According to him, the decision means the church no longer exists under Canadian law.
He further called on Canadian immigration authorities to review the status of a man he identified as Bashiru Igbanor, also known as Pastor David Igbanor, alleging that his work permit was tied to the now-dissolved ministry.
The man argued that if the claims were accurate, the pastor would no longer be eligible to remain in the country and should return to Nigeria.
Canadian authorities have not publicly confirmed the claims, and the church has yet to issue an official response.
The allegation comes amid ongoing public controversy involving Pastor Chris Okafor and Nigerian actress Doris Ogala, which has continued to generate debate on social media.
