Moshood Adeoti, former Secretary to the Osun State Government, has formally declared support for Governor Ademola Adeleke’s second term ambition, mobilizing thousands of his loyal supporters across Osun State in the process.
This development follows Adeoti’s exit from the Aregbesola political camp and his withdrawal from the Omoluabi bloc months ago. His return to active politics now comes with a clear direction as he and his political structure align with the Accord Party.
The decision was reached after wide consultations with grassroots coordinators and stakeholders drawn from polling units and wards across the state, reflecting the strength and reach of Adeoti’s political base.
Adeoti explained that the move was informed by what he described as the visible impact of the current administration, particularly its closeness to the people and attention to local development. He reaffirmed his long held commitment to grassroots leadership and the principle of Osun for Osun.
With thousands of supporters moving with him, Adeoti’s endorsement represents a significant boost for Governor Adeleke ahead of the next governorship election and marks an important shift in Osun’s political landscape.
