Osun Govt Releases First Batch of Successful Applicants for Teachers’ Recruitment|LAGOS EYE NEWS

The Osun State Government has released the names of the first batch of successful applicants for immediate recruitment into public primary and secondary schools across the state.

The announcement was made by the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi, in a statement issued in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.

Alimi disclosed that shortlisted applicants have been directed to check their names either online or at designated government offices. These include the headquarters of the Osun State Civil Service Commission, the Osun State Ministry of Education, the Osun State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) and the Osun State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), all located in Osogbo.

He further stated that successful candidates will begin the collection of their letters of appointment from Monday, March 9, 2026.

According to the commissioner, the state governor, Ademola Adeleke, congratulated the shortlisted applicants and urged them to regard their appointment as a call to service.

The governor charged them to contribute their best with diligence and commitment toward the growth and development of education in the state.

Adeleke also appreciated all applicants for their patience and continued support for the government’s efforts to reposition the education sector in Osun State.
