‘I Leave Proud, Stronger and Forever Grateful’ – Yohanna Bows Out at AIK |LAGOS EYE NEWS

Nigerian footballer Zadok Yohanna has announced his departure from Swedish club AIK, bringing an end to his one-year stay with the club.

In an emotional farewell message shared on Instagram, Yohanna expressed deep gratitude to the club, its supporters, teammates, coaches, staff, and management for their role in his development both on and off the pitch.

The youngster described AIK as more than just a football club, calling it “a family, an empire and a place that changed my life forever.”

Reflecting on his journey, Yohanna said he arrived in Stockholm as a young boy with dreams and ambitions and is leaving stronger, prouder, and grateful for the experiences he gained during his time at the club.

“One year feels too short. I wish we had more time together, but sometimes football takes you in a different direction and sometimes the right moment comes to take the next step,” he wrote.

The player also paid tribute to AIK supporters, thanking them for their unwavering passion and the atmosphere they created during matches.

Yohanna noted that although he is moving on to the next chapter of his career, the club will always hold a special place in his heart.

“Wherever football takes me, AIK will always be rooted in my heart. We will see each other again, sooner or later,” he said.

His departure marks the end of a memorable spell with the Swedish side, as he now looks ahead to the next stage of his football journey.
