The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the commencement of notification slip printing for candidates eligible to participate in the 2026 Mop-Up Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), scheduled to hold on June 13.
In a statement issued by JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, candidates were advised to visit the Board’s official portal to print their examination notification slips ahead of the exercise.
Dr. Benjamin explained that the mop-up examination is designed for candidates who were unable to sit for the main UTME due to technical challenges or those who could not complete biometric verification during the earlier examination.
He urged affected candidates to carefully check the details on their slips, including their examination dates, times, and venues, and familiarize themselves with their assigned centres before the examination day.
The Board further stressed the importance of adhering to all instructions contained in the notification slips to ensure a smooth examination process.
JAMB noted that the mop-up exercise represents the final opportunity for eligible candidates to participate in the 2026 UTME.
