Delta Police Arrest Content Creator Over Alleged Rape Linked to 20-Year-Old Woman’s Death|LAGOS EYE NEWS

The Delta State Police Command has arrested a popular content creator, Ifeanyi Ogbonna, popularly known as “Odogwu of Asaba,” over the alleged rape of a 20-year-old woman.

According to the police, the 40-year-old suspect allegedly invited the victim to Asaba under the pretense of training her in content creation.

He is accused of luring her to his hotel room, where she was allegedly assaulted and raped.

Reports indicate that the victim, traumatized by the incident, recorded a video detailing her ordeal before allegedly ingesting insecticide.

She was rushed to a hospital but later died while receiving treatment.

The police have confirmed the suspect’s arrest and said investigations into the case are ongoing.
