General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has visited the Presidency of Costa Rica alongside his wife, Pastor Folu Adeboye, as part of activities marking the National Crusade of Hope in the Central American country.

Adeboye disclosed the visit in a statement released to media on Tuesday, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to meet with Costa Rican President Laura Fernández and engage in discussions centred on faith, hope, peace and the transformation of lives.

He described the meeting as a great honour, noting that it provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships and share perspectives on the role of faith in promoting hope and positive change in society.

According to the cleric, the Gospel of Jesus Christ transcends national borders, languages and cultural differences, stressing that the mission of the Church remains to spread the message of salvation to people across the world.

He said his prayer was for the ongoing National Crusade of Hope in Costa Rica to bring salvation, healing, restoration and renewed hope to individuals, families and communities.

Adeboye also prayed for President Fernández and the people of Costa Rica, expressing hope that the country would continue to experience peace and God’s blessings.

Quoting Habakkuk 2:14 in the King James Version of the Bible, the RCCG leader said: “For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.”

The National Crusade of Hope forms part of the church’s evangelistic mission to spread the Christian message and encourage spiritual renewal across nations.
