President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital, to inaugurate major infrastructure projects executed by Governor Umo Eno’s administration.

Among the projects scheduled for inauguration are the new International Terminal Building at Victor Attah International Airport and Ring Road 3.

The airport terminal is one of several aviation-related facilities expected to be commissioned by the President. Others include the International Airport Hospital and Ibom Aviation Village.

Ring Road 3, which links Idoro Road to Ikot Ekpene Road through Uyo and Ibiono Ibom, is expected to enhance transportation, improve connectivity and ease movement across communities along the route.

Other projects listed for inauguration include the Airport-Okopedi Road, AKWA-GIS Office Complex, Command and Control Centre, and ARISE Palm Resort.

President Tinubu’s visit forms part of his two-state engagement in Akwa Ibom and Rivers states.

He is expected to proceed to Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, on Saturday to attend an All Progressives Congress (APC) rally.
