Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has congratulated Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 74th birthday, describing him as a committed democrat and seasoned public servant.
In a statement issued on behalf of his wife, family, the Lagos State Government, and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos, the governor praised the president’s longstanding dedication to governance and national development.
Sanwo-Olu noted that Tinubu’s record reflects a strong belief in democracy, good governance, and the progress of Nigeria.
He added that the president has demonstrated courage in making difficult decisions and remains focused on improving the lives of citizens.
The governor also highlighted Tinubu’s past leadership in Lagos, stating that his tenure laid the foundation for the state’s ongoing development.
He prayed for continued strength, wisdom, and good health for the president as he leads the country toward greater political and economic advancement.
Meanwhile, the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, also congratulated the president, joining other Nigerians in celebrating the milestone.
Obasa described Tinubu as a visionary leader whose policies and “Renewed Hope Agenda” are restoring confidence in Nigeria’s future.
The Speaker prayed for long life, sound health, and wisdom for the president to continue guiding the nation.
Tinubu turned 74 on Saturday, drawing tributes from political leaders and supporters across the country.
