APC Announces House of Reps Primary Winners in Ogun State |LAGOS EYE NEWS



The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State has declared winners of its House of Representatives primary elections conducted across nine federal constituencies in the state on Saturday.

Philip Shaibu, Chairman of the Ogun State APC National Assembly Primary Elections Committee, announced the results at the party’s secretariat in Abeokuta after receiving reports from collation officers across the constituencies.

Among the declared winners, Funmi Efuwape clinched the party’s ticket for Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency, while Olumide Osoba secured the candidacy for Abeokuta North/Obafemi Owode/Odeda Federal Constituency.

Moruf Afuape won the primary for Abeokuta South Federal Constituency, with Toyin Taiwo emerging victorious in Yewa South/Ipokia Federal Constituency. Olanrewaju Bashorun was declared winner for Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency, and Adijat Adeleye secured the ticket for Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency.

In the eastern constituencies, Joseph Adegbesan won the Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside ticket, while Razaq Dadah clinched the candidacy for Ijebu-Ode/Odogbolu/Ijebu North East Federal Constituency. Gboyega Isiaka was declared winner for Imeko Afon/Yewa North Federal Constituency.

The party described the primaries as successfully conducted across all affected constituencies.
