The Lagos State Government has reminded residents that the monthly Environmental Sanitation Day will hold on Saturday, July 25, 2026, urging everyone to actively participate by cleaning their homes and surroundings.
The Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, encouraged residents to properly bag their waste and dispose of it only at approved collection points to facilitate prompt evacuation by waste management operators.
Wahab stressed that maintaining a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable Lagos requires the collective efforts of all residents, calling on individuals, families, and communities to play their part in keeping the state clean.
The state government reiterated its commitment to environmental sustainability and appealed to Lagosians to support ongoing efforts to ensure a cleaner and safer environment for all.
