The Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority (LASPPPA) is set to hold stakeholder engagement sessions across four zones of the state to sensitise members of the public and professionals in the built environment on the Electronic Physical Planning Processing System (EPPPS).
The engagements are scheduled to take place in Ikorodu, Lekki and Mainland on 23, 29 and 30 September 2026, respectively, while the Ikeja zone will hold its session on 8 October 2026.
LASPPPA said all districts within each of the four zones are expected to participate in the engagements.
The initiative is aimed at increasing awareness within the built environment sector about the EPPPS and how the digital platform is helping to make planning permit applications faster, easier and more transparent across Lagos State.
According to the General Manager of LASPPPA, Tpl. Kehinde Osinaike, the stakeholder engagements reaffirm the state government’s commitment to transparency, efficiency and technology-driven service delivery in physical planning and development control.
He said the administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu remained committed to building a 21st-century Lagos that works for all residents.
Osinaike said the engagements would also provide an opportunity for professional bodies and practitioners in the built environment to interact with LASPPPA officials and gain a better understanding of the EPPPS.
“The stakeholders’ engagement will create a platform for dialogue where professional bodies and practitioners in the built environment can learn how to use EPPPS technology effectively to streamline approvals and improve compliance,” he said.
He urged stakeholders across the various zones to attend the sessions and contribute to discussions aimed at improving the physical planning and development control process in the state.
