NDC Fixes Presidential Nomination Form at N60m Ahead of 2027 Elections|LAGOS EYE NEWS

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has released the timetable for its primary elections ahead of the 2027 general election, announcing that presidential aspirants will pay N60 million for nomination and expression of interest forms.

According to a statement issued by the party’s National Chairman, Moses Cleopas, governorship aspirants are expected to pay N30 million to obtain their forms.

The party disclosed that the sale of nomination and expression of interest forms will begin on May 13 and end on May 18.

The NDC also directed all aspirants to appear for the screening exercise with relevant credentials and supporting documents.

Meanwhile, the party announced concessions for female aspirants and persons living with disabilities (PWDs). Female aspirants are to pay 50 per cent of the prescribed fees, while PWD aspirants will pay 25 per cent across all categories.

The party further revealed that its presidential primary election is scheduled to hold in Abuja on May 29.
