2027: APC Releases Payment Details for Purchase of Forms |LAGOS EYE NEWS

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released designated bank account details for the purchase of Expression of Interest and Nomination forms for the 2027 general elections, days after concerns emerged over the lack of payment information.

Earlier reports indicated that aspirants were unable to access the forms due to the absence of official account details, with allegations that some state governors had hijacked the process to influence candidate selection.

In a fresh announcement, the party directed all payments to be made directly into its approved accounts, listing Union Bank Plc (0239691733), UBA Plc (1025098328), and Zenith Bank Plc (1014008105) as the official channels.

The APC also confirmed its revised timetable, stating that screening of aspirants will take place from May 6 to May 9, 2026, covering State Houses of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate, governorship, and presidential hopefuls in phases. Appeals for State Assembly and House of Representatives screening are scheduled for May 12 to May 13, 2026.

Primary elections are set to begin on May 15, 2026, starting with the House of Representatives, and will run through Senate, State Assemblies, governorship, and presidential contests, concluding on May 23, 2026.

The party further outlined the cost of forms across positions:

State House of Assembly: N1 million (Expression of Interest), N5 million (Nomination)

House of Representatives: N1 million, N9 million
Senate: N3 million, N17 million

Governorship: N10 million, N40 million

Presidential: N30 million, N70 million

According to the APC, female aspirants, youths, and persons with disabilities are eligible for concessions, requiring them to pay only for the Expression of Interest form and 50 percent of the Nomination fee.
